At Cendry, we believe that your sleep routines and personal progress are entirely your own business. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, keeping it secure and prioritizing your privacy every step of the way.

1. Data Stored Exclusively on Your Device

We do not collect, store, or sell your personal tracking data. Everything related to your daily usage is stored locally on your own phone or tablet. This includes:

Your nightly tracking logs (wet or dry nights)
Bed states and personal notes
Custom alarms and routines

Because this data never leaves your device, we have zero access to it, and it can never be shared with or sold to third parties by us.

2. Data Processed for AI Features

To provide you with personalized hypnosis sessions and custom voices, Cendry utilizes premium third-party APIs. When you use these specific features, data is routed through our secure servers to ensure your absolute anonymity.

Personalized Session Generation (Google Gemini)

When you provide a prompt or event to create a custom session, we send this text to the Google Gemini API (using a paid, enterprise-tier plan). Gemini uses this input to generate a symbolic fiction text. Because this request is proxied through our servers, Google Gemini does not receive your IP address or personal device identifiers. Furthermore, under our paid API tier, Google retains prompts and responses for a maximum of 55 days solely for safety and abuse monitoring. Google does not use this data to train their AI models or for any commercial use.

Audio Generation & Optional Voice Cloning (Fish Audio)

To turn the text sessions into audio, we utilize the Fish Audio API. By default, sessions are narrated using a voice selected from our pre-existing, premium voice library. In these cases, Fish Audio only receives the generated fictional text to produce the audio.

As an optional feature, you may choose to clone a voice. If you use this feature, Fish Audio will also receive the voice samples you upload. Please note that we strictly prohibit the cloning of voices belonging to children under 16 years of age. Before initiating an optional voice clone in the app, users must explicitly confirm and declare they are over 16.

While Fish Audio's terms state they may store and share the audio content with their partners to improve their services, we ensure your identity remains protected. Like our text generation, all requests are routed anonymously through our servers, meaning Fish Audio never receives your IP address or personally identifiable metadata.

While Cendry can be used by parents to help their children, our app is designed so that no personally identifiable information (PII) of children is collected on our servers. All tracking data remains securely on the parent's or child's local device. Furthermore, as stated above, our voice cloning feature strictly forbids processing voice data of anyone under 16 years old, fully complying with COPPA, GDPR-K, and Apple and Google's strict children's privacy guidelines.

We value your trust in providing us with your prompts and voice samples for AI generation. We use commercially acceptable means of protecting it, primarily by anonymizing requests and relying strictly on local device storage for all long-term data retention.
